Deron Williams Sets Franchise Record
Last night Deron Williams set a franchise record for points scored during a single game. Although it was against the worst team in the NBA (Charlotte Bobcats), this is still a great achievement. Williams is known as one of the leagues most dominating scoring point guards. He had the game of his life putting up 57 points and lead the New Jersey Nets to a 104-101 victory over the Bobcats. This is quite an achievement because it has never been done in franchise history and it is the highest point total scored in a single game for the entire 2011-2012 NBA season.

yesterday was a day for point guards holy cow. Deron goes off for 57 and Rondo going 18-20-17 for a triple double. I don't know what they are feeding point guards these days, but I want some.
