Jeremy Lin took the national spotlight by storm the last few weeks. He has seemingly come out of nowhere to become one of the NBA's most popular player and playing All Star like basketball. He got no scholarship offers coming out of high school and went to Harvard to get a good education. He played four years of basketball at Harvard University. Lin came into the NBA with nothing to lose and played his heart out every time he touched the court. His motto was to take advantage of every opportunity that he got. When he was given the opportunity he did exactly what he said he would do. Lin took advantage! Over his first seven starts he is averaging 23 points and 9 assists per game. Now this is a player who was not even sure if he was going to be playing on any NBA team the following week. I think that now it is safe to say Lin will be there for many more weeks to come.
Interesting Fact: Lin's jersey is the highest selling jersey in the NBA throughout the past two weeks!

The Tim Tebow of basketball, crazy it happens within a few months of each other. What bothers me the most is when Lin starts playing good teams (for example not the Nets, Raptors, Wizards, T-Wolves) and the Knicks start losing, what will happen to Lin? Will Lin-sanity turn to something that isn't as Lin-teresting anymore? They have played one 'over .500' team in the Lakers, which was an impressive win, but until they can beat some decent teams and not just sub .500 groups I will truly be Lin-pressed.
